As fans poured in, the energy built steadily. The excitement could be felt in every corner of the venue as the wait for Kid Cudi began. The crowd assembled and the DJ spun classic hip-hop records. T-Rexxx of 1 Love T.O. hopped on stage to address the crowd. Once he had everyone's attention he introduced the opening act: Keys N Krates.

"Amazing!" one fan simply stated, describing the show put on by a DJ, a keyboard player, and a drummer as they proceeded to mix artists like Jay-Z and Lauryn Hill over house beats and classical notes coming via keyboard. "To see it live is just unreal," one man said.

Once Keys N Krates had finished its set, T-Rexxx came to the stage once again. The crowd expected Kid Cudi to come out right after; instead fans were treated to an hour plus wait. The wait was somewhat expected though due to the fact that Cudi was opening for and performing with Lady Gaga earlier in the evening.

During the wait one fan said he, "expected a good set." Once Kid Cudi made it to the stage he came out full of energy and performed his song, "Soundtrack To My life". The crowd was electrified once he started to perform. Unfortunately for him he was not able to avoid the constant feedback from the microphones, something that might have resulted from an unsuccessful sound check.

After four more songs, a number of breaks and constant feedback issues there was yet another surprise for all those in attendance. Drake graced the stage giving us his verse from the song, "Forever". The crowd was at its loudest upon Drizzy's completion; he gave his love, bowed out and Kid Cudi went on with his performance.

Unfortunately the sound was not equipped with auto tune. This is where Cudi could have lip synched. Even with the sound malfunctions Kid Cudi gave the crowd the exact experience they were looking for. "Day n' Nite" was the highlight. He had the whole crowd singing along as he put forth his most noteworthy single.
